Das Boot

The last movie I saw was Das Boot. The first thing I noticed was the main character is played by Jurgen Prochnow. He also was in The Seventh Sign with Demi Moore and Michael Biehn. This is a movie I love! But I digress. Das Boot was fantastic. The story is of a German U-boat during World War II. The acting is so authentic that I wanted things to go well for the crew, even though in real life I would have wanted them to be sunk. It is hard to put a finger on the factors that made this movie so good. It just was.
